Company records serve as a foundational element in your CRM, helping you track organizational relationships alongside individual contacts. Each Company record can hold vital information such as the company name, contact details, industry type, and any associated Person records. This comprehensive overview enables better engagement with both individual and organizational clients, facilitating more effective relationship management.

Flexible Options for Adding a Company Record

CreamSoda provides multiple convenient ways to create a new Company record, allowing you to choose the method that best fits your workflow:

Left Menu Bar: Navigate to the Create New option and select Company to initiate the process directly.

Deal Board Page: Click the red “+” icon in the bottom-left corner and choose Create Company to add a new Company record quickly.

From a Person or Deal Record: If you are viewing a Person or a Deal record and want to associate them with a new Company, look for the Company section and begin typing the Company name. If it doesn’t exist yet, you can select Create New to add the Company details.

Importing Companies

In addition to manual entry, you can also add Companies in bulk using the import functionality. CreamSoda allows you to import Company records directly from Excel files, enabling efficient updates and expansions of your database.
